FAQ

Some core questions that we've had early interested users bring up to us

How will I know if parking lots will be worth it?

We'll be listing the different kinds of returns that can be expected at different levels of funds raised. These will all be structured and listed according to the dealflow that we receive and the kinds/levels of assets we can invest in at that level.

More capital means more access to different deals, so it generally empowers us to drive better deals back to our users.

How do I get access to my returns?

We'll have a dashboard, so users that hold the token can claim their share of the yield.

How can I invest in this?

To invest, you must onboard your wallet and verify your identity on the Plume network. This ensures compliance with KYC/AML regulations and responsible fund management.

As of right now, since Plume network is not live yet, we'll be manually onboarding investment funds. Reach out to us @ https://twitter.com/Rentrium

Who owns the properties?

Each property is exclusively owned by a distinct LLC.

What happens if Defidriveway no longer exists?

Rentrium, our management entity, is distinct from the limited liability companies (LLCs) that hold the assets you're investing in. Each LLC will continue to exist separately as a legal entity for property ownership, taxation, accounting, liability, and ownership purposes. Regardless of Rentrium's status, the LLC assets will remain separate and unaffected, and a new manager can always be appointed if necessary.

How are properties chosen?

We focus on selecting properties that are in prime locations in NYC, where demand for said properties will be strong. We also work on looking at structuring deals where cashflow is stable e.g. leasing to public companies etc.

What happens if people are not using the lot?

We focus on structuring our deals such that our returns are based off of the lease. As such, the varying performance of the lot itself does not directly affect the yield.

How are the properties maintained legally?

For every offering we initiate, we establish a Series LLC, each of which possesses a single asset (a property) along with its own token and distinctive address. Each entity operates independently and is legally separate, unaffected by or cross-collateralized with any other series LLC in terms of legal or operational matters. Ownership of each entity rests with the investors who acquire its unique tokens, holding the ultimate authority in governance.
